The
test system was provided for us by ATI, so we
cannot cover the exact installation procedure and
whether or not there were any bugs.
In the coming days, we will follow up on
this article with a more in-depth review and
experiences on one of our in-house test beds,
complete with more definitive over-clocking
results.
Here
are screenshots of all the driver menus from under
both Device Manager:
And
from under the Advanced section of Display
Properties:
You
can control almost every aspect of the Radeon
through its driver control panels.
With the exception of an over-clocking
slider, ATI didn’t miss a trick. You have
quick access to these setting from a sytem tray
icon also.
We
then were able to run a multitude of
benchmarks with our Radeon system using MDK2 and
Quake 3 to test OpenGL performance and 3D Mark
2000 from MadOnion
to test D3D performance.
Gentlemen
start your engines! Benchmarks with the
Radeon! |
